Story Inspiration
The inspiration for Disillusioned was to show the ups & downs of your first love, but with a twist. This story is a cautionary tale. Girl, be careful when you’re in love.
Behind The Story
I wanted to show a young lady that lives her life completely dedicated to her first love. Unfortunately, Brentay was more dedicated to his budding rap career than his relationship with Memorie. Although Memorie was aware of some of Brentay’s shortcomings, her desire to prove her family wrong and her love for Brentay, kept her with him. She chose to make excuses for him. Memories remained loyal to him for as long as she could.
